Career Start is currently seeking Bindery Workers in the Rochester, NY area for a local, family owned printing company. To be considered for Bindery positions, candidates must be reliable, willing to learn & highly motivated. No experience necessary - Paid on the job training is provided!

The Bindery Worker will be responsible for assembling and binding printed materials into books, periodicals and pamphlets.

Responsibilities of the Bindery Worker:

• Measure, cut, trim, sort, and fold materials to produce finished bound product
• Read written instructions including those dealing with dimensions and quantity

• Inspect finished materials and package in preparation for shipping

Requirements of the Bindery Worker:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Ability to stand and walk on hard surfaces for extended periods
• Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50lbs & good manual dexterity

• MUST have reliable transportation
