Responsibilities of the Sales Engineer:

Technical Expertise:
    • Develop a deep understanding of product line, features, and applications
    • Act as a technical resource for customers, providing insights and recommendations on the most suitable solutions based on their specific needs
Sales Support:
    • Collaborate with the sales team to identify and pursue new business opportunities
    • Assist in the preparation of technical proposals, product presentations, and other sales materials
Customer Relationship Management:
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique challenges and requirements
    • Conduct site visits and engage in direct communication to gather information and provide on-site technical support
Product Customization:
    • Work closely with the engineering and manufacturing teams to customize solutions based on customer specifications
    • Provide feedback to internal teams for continuous product improvement based on market trends and customer feedback
Market Analysis:
    • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor products, and market demands
    • Analyze market data to identify potential areas for growth and improvement

Requirements of the Sales Engineer:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in a technical sales or sales engineering role, preferably in the industrial or manufacturing sector
  • Strong understanding of industrial and commercial door systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to travel to customer sites as needed
